We really love piroshkis. Our nine month old son does too! I think they are pretty healthful.

Cheerios and Goldfish

We've resisted buying Cheerios, but just to change things up, we bought some Honey Nut Cheerios couple of weeks ago. Meilee loves it. Prior to that, the only time she gets Cheerios is when she goes to Sponge School on Sundays and gets it for a light snack. Goldfish crackers are her other anytime snack. It's just funny how just about every kid loves these two things.

All Grown Up!

My girl used her chopsticks to eat dinner tonight. Another little triumph! The concentration in her face while she was trying to pick up some rice was clear and so heartening. Happy sigh.

One Last Time

My daughter has learned how to negotiate for another cookie or fill-in-the-blank treat. She flashes the sweetest look and says, "Mama, last one cookie. Please." When I say no, she repeats, "Last one." It's so darn cute that I can't resist. Of course, it's never really the last one, because after eating said "last one" she proceeds to ask for another "last one."
