Rose's first food was a pickle. Seriously. I'm kind of horrified.
I thought her first food would be a vegetable. Something local and organic. Lovingly hand picked by me, steamed and mashed to perfection. Lovingly spooned up and delivered to her plump little lips. "I am SUCH a great mom" I would think to myself as I fed our daughter her first solid food.
